The Asian Deans' Forum (ADF) consists of representatives from seven top engineering schools in Asia. Member universities meet regularly with the goal of advancing engineering knowledge and establishing 21st-century leadership in the field. The ADF’s Rising Stars Workshop aims to bring together young women professionals in engineering from around the world for career- and science-oriented discussions pertinent to the advancement of women academic leaders in Asia.
Creasant built the ADF a brand new website, complete with a fully integrated content management system. This enables website administrators to easily enter participants’ information, modify the event schedules, or post any other updates on the website without the help of a web developer.
Straightforward Design with Comprehensive Elements
The key information is organized into distinct content blocks. For example, the committee members and workshop participants are shown with a headshot and a bio one below the other. There are distinct icons for visitors to access the scholars’ contact details. The daily schedules are clearly displayed in tables with no distractions.
Multimedia Gallery of Past Event
There is a media gallery with video recordings and photos of keynotes and panel discussions from previous years. This not only demonstrates the close partnerships among the member schools but also gives new participants a feel of what the atmosphere is like. Past participants can also visit the gallery to look back on fond memories.
Easy Application through Web Submission Form
Academics and researchers from other schools are welcome to apply to attend the event by simply filling out a submission form on the website. Committee members can log onto the content management system any time to review and approve the applications.
